How much did we save this week?

It was a very uneventful week... Went to work and instead of ordering my usual cup of soup, bagel and cream cheese, and diet coke for lunch... I BROUGHT MY LUNCH FROM HOME!! Saved $7.81! And better yet... usually when I get home from work I get tempted to pick up fast food instead of scrounging around for food at home.... but we had fish sticks and mashed potatoes! Saved another 10 bucks or so. Steve did his part this week and received a check in the mail from Mayo for $10 for participating in a research study. Oh! And I cancelled my gym membership... I'm a little sad because I LOVED the gym, but I wasn't getting there as often as I needed to be... so saved a total of 351 dollars for the year. (We have a treadmill at home that is completely paid for... now just finding the motivation to get on it!)

Welcome! Steve and I are recent graduates of Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University! We are well on our way to financial peace! My only question is, "Now what?" Where's the motivation to keep going? Where's the support? How do you maintain gazelle intensity when you are moving at a tortoise pace? Help! I'm encouraged to read success stories, but honestly... I want results right now! I want to scream, "WE'RE DEBT FREE!" Unforunately, with a mountain of student loan debts looming over our heads, "debt free" iis far in the distant future... I've looked online and can't really find any kind of support for those people "working the steps." I need something to keep me going, keep me motivated, keep me running from the cheetah! Here it is... postings of our successes and failures, tips on how to save, how to earn, how to budget.
